We just got a beagle for Suzy's 10th birthday. (We gave her the option of a birthday pool party, a cello, or a puppy - three things she had asked for.) It was born July 4, 2007, so Suzy named it Sammy. It is female. She doesn't understand the concept of pooping outside yet, but she is otherwise fun. Gabby, Suzy, Sofia, and Tatiana like her, but Vanessa and Paola are afraid of her.I went to the pet store and looked at puppies for about 45 minutes before picking this particular beagle. I then brought Suzy to the store, and asked her which of the 20 some odd puppies she wanted, and she picked Sammy immediately.
This isn't an actual picture of Sammy, but the dog pictured is remarkably similar in its shadings and markings, only much younger.
