Sara had a field day at school today and Evan got to join her. He was in heaven and so excited to get to stay at school with Sara. This was one of the activities they did - BRILLIANT! For those of you who have small kids and haven't thought or heard of this wonderful idea before - here is a great summer activity. Just fill some paint cans (or any bucket) with water and let them "paint" the house or sidewalk or whatever with water and paintbrushes. They loved it and the best part is there is no clean up involved.

I like that because they always want a clean slate to paint on. This dries up fast enough for them to start over on a blank canvas. It is so funny how easily they are entertained with inexpensive stuff too...I think they play with this stuff more then most of their toys.
